Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 8, 2025
Introduction
Linkhome Holdings Inc. (referred to as “Linkhome,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the personal information we collect from you, how we use and share it, your rights and choices, and how you can contact us with questions about our privacy practices. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using Linkhome’s websites, mobile applications, and services (including our AI-powered real estate assistant HomeGPT, and our fintech offerings Cash Offer, Flash Sell, Trade Up, collectively the “Services”), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect in connection with:
-
Your use of our website (including collection via cookies and similar technologies) and mobile applications.
-
Your interactions with our Services, such as engaging with HomeGPT or utilizing Cash Offer, Flash Sell, Trade Up, and other features.
-
Your communications with us (for example, via email, chat, phone, or web forms).
-
Personal information we receive from third parties in connection with our Services (as described below).
Personal Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly: We collect personal information that you choose to provide us when using the Services, such as when you register an account, fill out forms on our website or app, communicate with us, or use specific features. This information may include:
-
Identifiers and Contact Information: Your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, and other contact details. If you create an account, we also collect your login credentials (username and password).
-
Profile and Preferences: Information you provide about your preferences, goals, and any saved searches or favorite properties. For example, you may provide criteria for home searches or details about the type of property you’re looking to buy or sell.
-
Property and Transaction Details: If you are buying or selling a home or using our real estate services, we collect information related to that process. This can include property addresses, listing details, photos, descriptions of your property, offer details, and transaction history. For instance, if you request a Flash Sell offer or use Trade Up, you will provide details about the property you own and the one you wish to purchase.
-
Financial Information: If you use our Cash Offer service or other financial/fintech features, or if you seek financing or mortgage-related assistance through us, we may collect personal financial information. This may include your income, credit score or credit report details, loan information, proof of funds, mortgage pre-approval status, or other information needed to evaluate your eligibility and to facilitate financial transactions. In some cases we may need to collect government-issued identification numbers (such as a driver’s license or Social Security number), or other documentation required by law or our financial partners. We will only collect this sensitive information when necessary (for example, to verify your identity or to process a transaction you have requested).
-
Communications and Content: The content of your communications with us. This includes your messages, emails, or phone calls to customer support, feedback you submit, and any information you provide in questionnaires or surveys. If you use HomeGPT (our AI real estate chatbot) or other interactive tools, we collect the questions, inputs, and any other content you submit, as well as the chatbot’s responses, to provide the service and improve our AI algorithms. We also collect information when you schedule home tours, consultations, or otherwise communicate through our platform with Linkhome real estate agents or representatives.
Information We Collect Automatically: When you use our websites, mobile apps, or Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage through cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies. This information helps us understand how you use our Services and enables us to improve your experience. The data we collect automatically includes:
-
Device and Technical Data: IP address, unique device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, mobile network information, and device model. We log details about your use of the Services, such as the pages or screens you view, the features you use (e.g. property searches or interactions with HomeGPT), the dates and times of access, the referral webpage/app that led you to our site, and your activity on the site or app.
-
Usage and Analytics Data: Information about your interactions with our website and app, including clickstream data (e.g. when you click on links or listings), time spent on pages, search queries, crash logs, and other analytical data. We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that use cookies and similar technologies to collect this usage information.
-
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and preferences. These technologies may record information such as your interactions with our ads, whether you opened an email we sent you, or the type of content you viewed. For more details, please see Cookies and Tracking Technologies below.
-
Geolocation Data: With your permission, we may collect precise geolocation data from your mobile device or browser. For example, our mobile app might request access to your GPS location to show you nearby home listings, local market information, or to assist in verifying property details for services like Flash Sell. We will only collect precise geolocation data if you opt-in to such collection via your device settings or app permissions. If you choose not to allow location access, you can still use our Services, but some location-dependent features (such as showing homes near your current location or certain augmented reality features) may not be available. You can disable or adjust location permissions at any time through your device or browser settings.
Information from Third Parties: We may also obtain personal information about you from other sources, such as:
-
Service Providers and Partners: If you choose to participate in our Trade Up program or seek mortgage or title services through Linkhome, we may receive information about you from third-party financial institutions, lenders, or title companies that we partner with. For example, a partner might share your pre-approval status or certain financial information with us to streamline your transaction. Similarly, if an external real estate agent, contractor, or other partner is involved at your request, they may provide us information about you or the transaction.
-
Third-Party Platforms: If you interact with our Services through social media or connect your account to a third-party platform (for instance, if we enable sign-in via Google/Facebook or you use a chat feature integrated with another service), those platforms may send us certain information such as your profile name, email, or other information you have authorized them to share.
-
Advertising and Lead Generation Partners: We may receive your personal information from marketing partners or online advertising networks. For example, if you clicked on an advertisement for Linkhome on a third-party site or submitted your information on a real estate lead form hosted by a partner, that third party might provide us with your contact information and interest so that we can reach out to you.
-
Public Sources: In the process of providing our Services, especially real estate services, we may review public records or publicly available information (for example, to verify property ownership, valuation, or to get information about a property from a public listing service or government records). These public sources might include property tax databases, county recorder offices, MLS (Multiple Listing Service) listings, or similar. If we combine or link such public information with personal information we have collected from you, we will treat the combined information as personal data under this Privacy Policy.
We collect and use the above information in accordance with applicable law and as necessary to provide our Services to you. You may choose not to provide certain personal information (for example, you might decline to submit optional profile details or refuse location access). However, please note that not providing some information may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services. We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account credentials) unless you voluntarily provide it to use specific Services (e.g. for financial products or identity verification), in which case we use it only for those necessary purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:
-
Providing and Improving the Services: We use your information to operate our website, mobile app, and Services, and to deliver the features you request. This includes using personal information to create and manage your account, to display property listings and search results tailored to your preferences, to enable HomeGPT’s interactive real estate assistance, and to facilitate real estate transactions you engage in (such as preparing a Cash Offer or arranging a Flash Sell purchase of your home). We also analyze usage information to understand how our Services are used and to make improvements, develop new features, and enhance the user experience for both buyers and sellers.
-
Real Estate Transactions and Services: Your information is essential for us to assist you in buying or selling property. For example, if you are a buyer, we use your personal and financial information to help you find suitable homes, make competitive offers (including using our Cash Offer service to strengthen your offer), and guide you through closing. If you are a seller using Flash Sell, we use the details you provide about your home to evaluate and present a competitive purchase offer, and to manage the subsequent sale process. For customers using Trade Up, we use your information to coordinate the timing of your sale and purchase, which may include working with third-party lenders to secure financing for your new home while preparing your old home for sale. In all cases, we use personal information to perform our obligations in real estate brokerage, such as preparing contracts and other documentation, scheduling tours or inspections, and connecting you with our licensed agents or appropriate service providers.
-
Communication and Customer Support: We use contact information (like your email and phone number) to communicate with you about your account or any requests you’ve made. This includes sending service-related announcements (e.g. confirmations of inquiries or transactions, updates on the status of your home sale or purchase, changes to our terms or policies), responding to your questions and feedback, and providing customer support. If you start an application or form (for example, a request for a cash offer) but do not complete it, we may follow up to assist you. We also use communications data internally to train our customer service team and ensure quality service.
-
Personalization and AI Services: We may use your information to personalize the content and recommendations you see on our platform. For instance, HomeGPT uses the details from your interactions (such as your home search criteria or questions asked) to provide tailored, relevant answers and suggestions. Additionally, we may use your past searches, saved homes, or interactions to highlight new listings or services you might be interested in. Our AI tools might analyze aggregated user data (in a way that does not identify you personally) to improve algorithms for home price predictions, market analysis, or to enhance the accuracy and usefulness of HomeGPT’s responses.
-
Marketing and Promotional Communications: We use personal information to send you marketing communications, in accordance with your preferences. For example, we may send you emails about new Linkhome services, real estate market updates, promotional offers, newsletters, or events that might interest you. If you have opted in to receive SMS alerts or push notifications, we will send those to you as well. We strive to tailor these communications to be relevant – such as featuring homes in areas you’ve searched or products like Cash Offer if we know you’re actively house-hunting. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time (see Marketing Communications Choices below). We do not send unsolicited marketing if you have opted out, and we do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing without your consent.
-
Advertising and Analytics: We may use your information (primarily as it relates to your interactions with our site/app and advertisements) to serve you tailored advertisements on our Services or on third-party platforms. This may include using cookies and device identifiers to deliver ads about Linkhome that are more relevant to you (for example, showing you an ad for our Trade Up program if you have been browsing content about selling and buying simultaneously). We also use analytics data to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (for instance, seeing how many users who clicked an ad ended up requesting a home tour). In doing so, we may work with third-party advertising networks or social media platforms who use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior on our site and other sites over time, in order to show you targeted ads. Where required by law, we will treat such sharing of data for advertising as described in “How We Share Your Information” and honor opt-out requests.
-
Security and Fraud Prevention: We use personal information to protect the security and integrity of our Services and users. For example, we may use device and account information to detect and prevent fraud, spam, or unauthorized access to or use of our Services. If you engage in suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity (such as attempting to hack our platform or submitting false information), we may use relevant data to investigate and mitigate such behavior. We also use and may share information as needed to enforce our Terms of Use and agreements, to bill and collect amounts owed, and to resolve disputes.
-
Legal and Compliance Purposes: We may use your information to comply with applicable legal obligations, regulations, and industry standards. As a real estate brokerage and a provider of financial-related services, we are subject to various laws (for example, know-your-customer and anti-fraud regulations, state real estate laws, fair housing laws, and privacy laws). We may process personal information as needed to adhere to these requirements – such as maintaining transaction records, providing required disclosures, monitoring for compliance, and responding to lawful requests by governmental authorities. If necessary, we will use your information to protect our rights and property (or the rights and safety of our users or others), including pursuing available remedies or limiting damages in the event of a legal claim.
We may combine information we collect from you with information from other sources and use it for the purposes described above. We will not use your personal information for purposes that are materially different from what is described in this Policy without informing you and obtaining your consent if required. Where applicable law requires a specific legal basis for processing personal data, our legal bases include your consent (where you have provided it, such as for marketing or certain cookies), the necessity of the data for performing a contract with you (such as using your information to help buy/sell a home at your request), and our legitimate business interests (such as improving our Services and preventing fraud), as well as compliance with legal obligations.
How We Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, we do share personal information with third parties in certain circumstances as part of operating our business and providing our Services. When we disclose personal information, we take steps to ensure the recipient will protect it and use it only for the purposes described. The categories of third parties with whom we share information, and our reasons for sharing, include:
-
Affiliated Companies: Linkhome Holdings Inc. operates through affiliated entities (such as Linkhome Realty Group and other subsidiaries). We may share personal information among the Linkhome family of companies to support our Services and business operations. For example, information may be shared between our brokerage operations and our corporate parent for centralized data management, or between Linkhome and a future affiliated mortgage or title company (if established) to streamline your transactions. All Linkhome affiliates receiving your information will protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
-
Service Providers and Vendors: We employ third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf and help us provide our Services. These service providers handle a variety of operations such as website hosting, data storage, database management, cloud computing, analytics, marketing support, customer relationship management, email/sms delivery, and customer service tools. We only share the personal information with service providers that is necessary for them to perform their tasks, and we contractually require them to keep your information confidential and use it only for our legitimate business purposes. For example, we may share your contact information with an email delivery vendor to send out newsletters or share usage data with analytics providers who help us understand how users engage with our app.
-
Real Estate and Transaction Partners: In the course of a real estate transaction or service you request, we often must share information with other parties involved. This includes:
-
Real Estate Professionals: If you are working with a Linkhome real estate agent or broker, your information will be shared with that agent and their brokerage as needed to assist you. If your transaction involves a co-buyer, co-seller, or cooperating agent (e.g., if another brokerage has the buyer for the home you’re selling), we will share necessary details with the relevant parties as part of the negotiation and closing process.
-
Financial Institutions and Lenders: When you utilize our Cash Offer program or Trade Up service, or if you seek mortgage pre-approval or other financing through our platform, we may share your relevant personal and financial information with the third-party banks or lending partners that provide the funding or loans. For instance, to secure an all-cash offer on your behalf or to finance a bridge loan in a Trade Up scenario, your information (such as your name, contact, credit or income details, and property information) will be shared with the partner financial institution underwriting the transaction. These partners are authorized to use the information only as needed to evaluate and provide the requested financial product or service, and they are obligated to protect your data under their own privacy policies and applicable law.
-
Title, Escrow, and Insurance Providers: If your real estate transaction progresses to sale, we may need to share your information with title companies or escrow agents to facilitate title searches, escrow services, and closing. Similarly, if you request homeowners insurance quotes or other insurance services through us, we will share information with those insurance partners at your direction.
-
Inspectors, Appraisers, and Contractors: For services like Flash Sell or general home sale preparation, we might arrange home inspections or appraisals. With your knowledge, we will share the necessary property and contact information with licensed inspectors or appraisers who perform services. If repairs or renovations are needed and you choose to use or are offered a renovation service through Linkhome, we would share appropriate details with the contractors or service companies performing the work (typically this would be limited to property information and your contact details).
-
Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and Portals: If you are selling a home through traditional methods (not just directly to Linkhome), we may list your property on the MLS and other real estate listing websites to reach potential buyers. In doing so, information about the property (and typically not sensitive personal info about you, aside from maybe your name or initials as owner, depending on local MLS rules) becomes public as part of the listing. We handle such listings in line with industry practices and any brokerage agreements we have with you.
-
-
Business Partners and Marketing: We may share limited personal information with trusted business partners for joint offerings or marketing initiatives, but only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. For example, if we co-sponsor a real estate seminar or a home-buying event with a partner, and you sign up, we might share your name and email with that co-sponsor for event coordination or follow-up (and we would let you know at sign-up that such sharing will occur). Additionally, if you specifically request a service that involves a third party (for instance, if through our platform you request to be connected to a third-party mortgage lender or moving company), we will share your information at your direction with that third party to fulfill your request. We do not sell your information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes, and we do not share your contact information with unaffiliated companies for them to market their products to you without your explicit consent.
-
Advertising and Analytics Partners: As noted in the “Advertising and Analytics” portion of How We Use Your Information, we may allow third-party advertising networks and analytics providers to collect information about your browsing or app usage behavior through cookies and other tracking technologies. This information (such as your device identifiers, browsing activity, and other online activity data) may be shared with these partners to enable targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. For example, we might share a hashed version of your email or mobile device ID with an advertising platform like Google or Facebook to help us reach you (or others with similar interests) with ads on their services. Likewise, we use analytics cookies that may result in sharing of your usage data with analytics providers for performance and usage analysis. These third parties may use your data for their own purposes in accordance with their privacy policies. However, under California law, some of this data sharing for targeted advertising could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We provide you the ability to opt out of such data sharing – please see Your Privacy Rights below for information on how to exercise your right to opt out of targeted advertising cookies.
-
Legal and Regulatory Disclosures: We may disclose your personal information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required or permitted by law. This includes sharing information in response to lawful requests by public authorities (such as subpoenas, court orders, or government demand letters), to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. If we receive a legal request for your data, we will attempt to notify you when appropriate (for example, unless we are prohibited by law or it’s an emergency). We may also share information necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Linkhome, our customers, or others. For example, we might share data with law enforcement or fraud prevention agencies to investigate suspected illegal activities like fraud, money laundering, or cyber-attacks on our systems.
-
Corporate Transactions: If Linkhome is involved in a potential or actual merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or sale of company assets, personal information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction. We will ensure that any such successor is bound to protections for your personal information at least as strict as those in this Policy. Similarly, if we engage in due diligence with a potential investor or acquirer, under confidentiality agreements we may need to disclose certain limited data as part of the review process (e.g., aggregated usage statistics or business metrics that could indirectly include personal data). In the event a transaction is completed, your personal information would likely be one of the transferred assets, but the use of your information will remain subject to the promises made in this Privacy Policy (unless you consent otherwise). You will be notified via a prominent notice on our website or by email of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information as a result of a corporate change, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information in that event.
-
With Your Consent or At Your Direction: Aside from the situations above, we will share your personal information with third parties only if you direct or consent to us doing so. For example, if you ask us to share your search criteria with a friend who is helping you look for homes, or if you instruct us to share your testimonial or review on our website, we will do so with your permission. You may also separately consent to our sharing of your information in other ways not covered by this Privacy Policy, in which case we will honor the scope of your consent.
No Sale of Personal Information: We want to re-emphasize that we do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for monetary consideration. We also do not disclose sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or financial details) to third parties except as needed to provide the Services you have requested or as required by law (for example, to process a loan or comply with regulations). Some of the sharing described above (such as with advertising partners) might be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain privacy laws. Rest assured, we only engage in such sharing to support our operations and offer you a more personalized experience, and you have the right to opt out of this as described below.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies and Similar Technologies: Like many online services, Linkhome uses cookies, beacons, pixels, and other tracking technologies (collectively, “cookies”) on our website and apps. Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device that allow us and our partners to remember you and collect information about your visit. These technologies serve several functions:
-
Essential Cookies: Some cookies are necessary for our site to function properly and to provide you with the Services. For example, they enable you to stay logged in to your account or to move smoothly between pages without having to re-enter information.
-
Analytics Cookies: We use analytics and performance cookies to understand how users engage with our website. These cookies may track things like how often you visit, which pages you view, and what links you click. This information helps us improve the design, functionality, and content of our Services. We typically use third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) for these purposes. The data shared with these providers may include details like your IP address or device information, but it is generally aggregated and not intended to directly identify you.
-
Advertising and Marketing Cookies: We and approved third parties (like advertising networks and social media platforms) use cookies and pixels to deliver relevant advertisements to you. For example, if you view certain homes or Service pages on our site, you may later see ads on other websites or apps highlighting Linkhome services or similar properties. These cookies might also limit the number of times you see an advertisement and help measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. They may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites to infer your interests and show you ads tailored to those interests (this is known as interest-based or targeted advertising).
-
Functionality Cookies: These cookies allow our site to remember choices you make (such as your preferred language or region) and provide enhanced, more personalized features. They can also be used to remember your preferences regarding the appearance of our site or certain settings, so you don’t have to reset them each visit.
We may combine information collected through cookies with other personal information we have about you, as described in this Policy, to make our use of data more efficient and to improve your experience. For instance, cookies might enable us to show HomeGPT suggestions that align with the listings you’ve viewed.
Your Choices for Cookies: You have the ability to control or limit how cookies are used on your devices. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that if you disable or delete cookies (especially essential cookies), some features of our website or Services may not function properly. For example, disabling cookies might require you to log in every time you visit or may prevent certain interactive features from working.
If we use cookies that are not strictly necessary (such as advertising or analytics cookies), we will provide notice (like a cookie banner) and obtain consent where required by law. You can manage your cookie preferences through that banner or tool if available. Additionally, to opt out of Google Analytics, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on; and to opt out of interest-based advertising from many ad networks, you can visit the industry opt-out pages provided by the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) (websites such as optout.networkadvertising.org and optout.aboutads.info). If you are in the EU or UK, you can also use the EDAA’s Your Online Choices tool. Please note that opting out of interest-based advertising through these tools does not mean you will no longer see ads, it just means those ads will likely not be personalized based on your browsing behavior across different sites.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls: “Do Not Track” (DNT) is a setting available in some web browsers that allows users to signal their preference regarding tracking by websites. Currently, there is no consensus or consistent industry standard for handling DNT signals, so our website does not respond to browser DNT signals. However, we do respond to certain global privacy control signals (such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser setting) as required by applicable state laws for opt-out of sale/sharing. If our site detects a recognized GPC signal from your browser set to opt out, we will treat that as a valid request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes (see Your Privacy Rights below for more on opt-out). We will continue to monitor developments around DNT and other preference signals and will adjust our practices if an official standard emerges.
For more detailed information about the cookies and tracking technologies we use, you may refer to a separate Cookies Policy or Cookies section on our website if available. If you have any questions about our use of cookies, you can always contact us (see Contact Information at the end of this Policy).
Geolocation Services
As noted above, we may collect and use your device’s precise geolocation data to enhance certain features of our Services, but only with your affirmative permission. Our mobile app (or your mobile browser) will prompt you to grant permission if a feature you engage with requires location data. Examples of how we use geolocation data include:
-
Home Search and Local Content: If you allow location access, our app can show you homes for sale or rent near your current location, and provide information about your neighborhood or local market conditions. This can be useful if you want to quickly see what’s available nearby without manually entering a location.
-
Verifying Property Visits or Features: When conducting a Flash Sell assessment or scheduling a home tour, we might use geolocation data to confirm that our agent or inspector arrived at the correct property, or to help route you to a property you want to visit. In the future, we may introduce augmented reality (AR) features or neighborhood tour functionalities that make use of real-time location data.
-
Fraud Prevention and Security: In some cases, collecting location data can help secure your account. For example, if someone attempts to log into your account from a completely different location than usual, we might use that information to trigger a security challenge or alert. Similarly, if we notice an impossibility (say, you claim to be touring a home in California but your device location shows you are on the East Coast at that time), it can help us detect potential fraudulent activity.
Your Control: You are not required to share precise location information to use Linkhome’s Services. If you initially consent to geolocation collection, you can always revoke that permission by adjusting the settings on your mobile device (typically under Privacy > Location Services, and set Linkhome’s app to “Off” or “While Using” as you prefer) or in your browser settings for location. Note that if you disable location services, certain features that rely on location may be limited or unavailable, as described earlier. Apart from precise GPS data, we may also derive a rough approximation of your location from your IP address when you use our site (this might tell us your city or region, not your exact coordinates). This is generally used for fraud detection and to show you relevant content (for example, showing you a regional homepage). This approximate location identification via IP happens by default for internet communications and cannot be turned off, but it is much less specific than GPS-based location. We treat all location data collected as personal information and protect it accordingly.
Marketing Communications Choices
Promotional Emails and Newsletters: With your consent or as otherwise permitted by law, we may send you emails about new products, special offers, newsletters, market updates, or other promotional content. You have the right to opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time. If you no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional communications, you can click the “unsubscribe” link (or similar) provided in the footer of any marketing email we send. Alternatively, you may contact us at our support email or address (see Contact Information below) and request to be removed from our marketing list. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we will still send you important transactional or service messages when necessary (for example, emails about your account, security alerts, legally required notices, or updates on a transaction you are involved in), as these are not promotional in nature.
SMS/Text Messages: If you have signed up to receive text message alerts or notifications (for instance, updates about a home you’re selling, reminders for a tour, or marketing texts), you can opt out of further text messages by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After you text STOP, we may send you a confirmation message to verify that you have been unsubscribed. Once unsubscribed, you will not receive further promotional text messages unless you re-subscribe or provide consent again. Please note that standard message and data rates may apply to any texts, and the frequency of texts will vary based on your interactions with our Services. If you need help with text messages, you can reply “HELP” to get assistance or contact us via email/phone. As with emails, opting out of marketing texts will not prevent us from sending texts necessary to fulfill our Services or respond to you (e.g., a text from your Linkhome agent coordinating a meeting, or an authentication code for login if you use SMS-based verification).
Push Notifications: With your consent, our mobile app may send push notifications or alerts to your device (for example, notifying you of new property matches, price drops on saved homes, or reminders about tasks in a transaction). You can control push notifications at any time by adjusting the settings on your mobile device (usually under Notifications settings for the Linkhome app). Disabling push notifications will not affect your ability to use the app, but you will not receive real-time alerts unless you open the app.
Phone Calls: If you provide us with your phone number, we (or our agents) may call you in response to an inquiry or as part of the services you’re using (for example, to discuss an offer, or provide consultation). We may also call you to offer additional Linkhome services that might be of interest to you. However, if you prefer not to receive marketing or sales calls, you can let us know and we will place your number on our internal “Do Not Call” list. You may also register your number on the U.S. National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov to reduce telemarketing calls from all businesses. Please be aware that even if you are on the Do Not Call list, if you have an active relationship with us (such as an ongoing transaction) we may still call you for service-related purposes.
We endeavor to honor all opt-out requests promptly. Please allow a few business days for email and SMS opt-outs to fully take effect, as some communications may already be in process. There is no fee for opting out, and your choices will not negatively affect any service we provide to you. If you have multiple accounts or email addresses with us, you will need to opt out from each one separately. If you experience any issues with unsubscribing or opting out, please contact us for assistance. We will not retaliate or discriminate against you for opting out of marketing communications. For California residents: opting out of marketing communications is considered part of your right to direct us not to use your personal information for certain purposes, and we will always honor that choice.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not register an account with Linkhome, make purchases, or send us any personal information (including your name, address, phone number, or email). In the event we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information from our records.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under your care has provided personal information to Linkhome without your consent, please contact us immediately using the contact information provided at the end of this Policy. We will work to delete the child’s information as soon as possible.
We ask that users between the ages of 13 and 18 obtain permission from their parent or guardian before using our Services or providing any personal information. Real estate transactions and related financial services are typically intended for adults, and users must generally be 18 or older to engage in such transactions with Linkhome. We do not knowingly market any of our Services to minors. Any information on our platform about school districts or family-friendly neighborhood features is provided for general informational purposes to adult users (such as parents considering a move), not as a solicitation to children.

Linkhome is headquartered in the United States, and the majority of our operations and data processing activities occur in the U.S. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information will likely be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our facilities or service providers are located. The data protection and privacy laws in these jurisdictions may not be as comprehensive or protective as those in your home country or region. However, our handling of your personal information will at all times be governed by this Privacy Policy and the requirements of applicable law.
We take steps to ensure that international transfers of personal data are subject to appropriate safeguards. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region with laws governing data collection and use, and you use our Services or provide us with your information, you acknowledge that we may transfer your personal data to the U.S. (or other countries) for processing. In such cases, we will rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other acceptable safeguards to lawfully transfer data across borders. We will also honor any additional rights you may have under local law regarding your personal data (for instance, EU individuals have rights under the GDPR, and we address those through a separate privacy notice or upon request when applicable).
By using our Services or providing us with information, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this section. If you do not want your information transferred to or processed in the United States, please do not use the Services. For international users with specific questions or requests regarding their data (including any questions about our data transfer mechanisms), please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Your Privacy Rights
Certain privacy laws provide individuals with specific rights regarding their personal information. Linkhome is committed to honoring the rights of all users to the extent required by applicable law. This section describes: (a) the rights and choices that all users have in general, and (b) additional rights that residents of California and other U.S. states (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia) may have under their respective state laws. If you are a resident of one of these states, please read below for a description of your rights under your state’s privacy law and how to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Access and Knowledge: You have the right to request access to the personal information we have collected about you. This includes the right to ask us for confirmation as to whether or not we are processing your personal information, and to obtain a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you. For California residents, this is known as the “Right to Know,” which encompasses the right to receive information about the categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for collecting (or selling/sharing, if applicable) that information, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared or disclosed the information. When you make an access request, we will provide you with a report detailing this information for the 12-month period preceding your request (or a shorter period if required by law). You may request this information up to two times in a 12-month period, as permitted by CCPA/CPRA and similar laws.
Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. We strive to keep our records accurate and up to date. If you find that any of your information is incorrect or has changed (for example, your contact details or saved preferences), you can submit a request for correction. In some cases, you can make certain changes yourself by logging into your account and updating your profile or settings. For other changes, or if you need assistance, you can contact us with details about the inaccuracy and the correction you seek. We will take reasonable steps to verify the identity of anyone requesting a correction to ensure that we do not alter data without proper authority. Upon verifying your request, we will correct the information as you direct, or if we are unable to do so (for instance, if we dispute that the information is inaccurate or if it’s an opinion that cannot be objectively verified), we will inform you of the basis for the denial and your options.
Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete personal information that we have collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete (and instruct our service providers and contractors to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies. Please note that we may decline to fulfill a deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to complete the transaction for which the information was collected (for example, if you are in the middle of a home sale or purchase, we likely cannot delete necessary details until the transaction is complete), to detect security incidents or protect against malicious activity, to comply with a legal obligation (such as record-keeping requirements, including those for real estate and financial transactions), or to otherwise use the information internally in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided it (such as using transaction history to administer our business). If we deny a deletion request, we will inform you of the reason. Also note that, after we delete your information from active systems, some of your data may remain in our archives, backups, or logs for a certain period as allowed by law until those are purged—during that time it will not be actively processed for any new business purposes.
Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information: If you are a resident of California or certain other states with similar rights (e.g., Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia), you have the right to direct us not to sell your personal information to third parties and the right to opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. As explained in the How We Share Your Personal Information section, Linkhome does not sell personal data for monetary compensation. However, we may share certain identifiers and internet/activity information with third-party advertising partners to provide you with personalized ads. This kind of data sharing could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws. If you wish to opt out of such sharing for targeted advertising purposes, you can: (1) use the cookie and opt-out tools described in Cookies and Tracking Technologies to disable advertising cookies, (2) if available, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or toggle on our website (often found in the footer or your account settings) which will register your preference, (3) enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser (which we will honor as an opt-out signal, as noted above), or (4) contact us using the methods below to submit an opt-out request. Once we process your opt-out, we will stop sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you have multiple browsers or devices, you may need to set your preferences on each one. Opting out of sale/sharing will not affect our ability to share information with service providers or others as described in this Policy (who use it only on our behalf), and it will not stop all ads – you will still see generic ads or ads from us that are not tailored using your personal information. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly engage in such activity.
Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: California residents have the right to limit our use or disclosure of “sensitive personal information” (as defined by CPRA) if it is used for purposes beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested services. Sensitive personal information includes data like Social Security numbers, financial account logins, precise geolocation, and certain demographic details. As described above, Linkhome only uses sensitive information (if we collect any at all) for necessary business functions such as verifying identity, processing transactions you’ve requested, or complying with legal obligations. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you or for secondary purposes like profiling for targeted advertising. Therefore, at this time, we do not offer a specific opt-out for limiting use of sensitive information, because we do not use or disclose sensitive data except as needed to serve you. If in the future we intend to use sensitive personal information in ways that trigger the right to limit, we will update our practices and honor applicable opt-out or limit requests.
Non-Discrimination/Non-Retaliation: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. This means that if you choose to exercise your rights (such as requesting deletion or opting out of data sharing), we will not deny you our Services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because of your decision. In certain cases, however, exercising your rights might affect our ability to deliver service. For example, if you request deletion of all your data, we may not be able to continue offering services that rely on that data (like maintaining an account or saved home preferences). But in no event will we punish or retaliate against you through the quality or pricing of services just for making a privacy request. If we offer any financial incentives related to the collection or sale of personal information (such as rewards, discounts, or other benefits in exchange for retaining your data), we will present the terms of such incentive to you and obtain any required consent. (At this time, we do not offer any financial incentive programs that involve the sale of personal information or require you to waive your privacy rights.)
California “Shine the Light” Disclosure: California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) allows California residents to request certain information about what personal information is shared with third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes. Linkhome’s policy is not to disclose your personal information to third-party businesses for their direct marketing use without your consent. We do not rent or sell your contact information to unrelated companies for their marketing purposes. If you are a California resident, you may request a list of any personal information we have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year (if any) and the names and addresses of those third parties. To make such a request, please contact us as described below. Please note that Shine the Light rights are distinct from CCPA rights and may be exercised separately.
Other State Rights: If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to direct us not to sell certain personal information about you to third parties for monetary consideration, even if your data is not currently being sold. As noted, Linkhome does not sell personal information for money. If you still wish to formally opt out of any possible future sale under Nevada law, you can contact us with your request, and we will record your preference. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut also have rights similar to those described above (right to access, correct, delete, opt out of sales/profiling/targeted ads). We intend for our processes for verifying and responding to requests to meet the requirements of those state laws as well. Additionally, those states allow consumers to appeal a company’s decision if a rights request is denied. If we deny your privacy request and you are in a state with an appeal right, you may contact us to appeal the decision. We will review any appeal and inform you of any action taken or additional recourse available to you.
Exercising Your Rights: To exercise any of the privacy rights described above, please submit a request to us by one of the following methods:
-
Web Form/Email: You may send an email to us at privacy@linkhomeai.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request” and let us know which right you wish to exercise (e.g., access, deletion, opt-out of sale/sharing, etc.). Please include your name and the email associated with your Linkhome account (if you have one), and specify the details of your request. If we have an online web form on our website for privacy requests (check our “Do Not Sell/Share” link or Privacy section on the site), you can also use that form to submit your request directly.
-
Mail: You may mail us your request in writing. Please see the Contact Information section below for our mailing address. Attn it to “Privacy Request – [Your Name]”. In your request, please include your full name, contact information, the nature of your request, and any information that will help us locate your records (such as the email or phone number you used with our Services).
-
Toll-Free Phone (if available): If we offer a toll-free privacy hotline for consumers, that number will be listed on our website in the Privacy section. You may call that number and follow the instructions to submit a request. (As of the last update of this Policy, you may use our general customer service line listed on our website to inquire about privacy requests, and our team will guide you.)
Verification Process: For your protection, we will need to verify your identity (and authority, if you are an authorized agent) before processing a substantive privacy request (access, deletion, etc.). The verification steps and information required may vary depending on the sensitivity of the data and whether you have an account with us. If you have a password-protected account, we may verify your request through our existing authentication procedures (e.g., requiring you to sign in). If you do not have an account, we might ask you to provide at least two or three pieces of personal information that we can match against our records (such as contact info or recent transaction details). For certain requests, especially deletion or highly sensitive data access, we may employ a higher standard of verification (we may ask for a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request, as permitted by law).
If you are making a request through an authorized agent (such as an attorney or someone with power of attorney), we will require proof of the agent’s identity, proof of your identity, and a valid authorization showing the agent’s authority to act on your behalf. We may directly confirm with you that you provided the agent permission.
We aim to respond to verified consumer requests within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days for CCPA/CPRA, with the possibility of an extension by an additional 45 days if necessary, in which case we will notify you of the reason for delay). If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reasons in our response. Any information we provide in response to a request will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verified request, unless you specifically request a longer period and applicable law allows it (the CPRA, for instance, allows consumers to request information beyond 12 months in certain cases, and we will honor such requests if required).
You have the right to exercise these rights free of charge. However, if requests from a particular individual become excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request, as permitted by law. We will inform you if this situation arises.
Data Security
We understand the importance of protecting your personal information and have implemented reasonable security measures to guard against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of the information in our custody. These measures include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. For example, we use encryption technology (SSL/TLS) to secure data in transit on our site (you can confirm this by the padlock icon in your browser when accessing our site), and we employ encryption or other protections for sensitive data at rest. Our systems are protected by firewalls and access controls; we limit access to personal information only to those employees, contractors, and service providers who need such access to perform their job duties. We also conduct regular security assessments and maintain procedures to handle suspected incidents.
Despite our efforts, no security measures are infallible. The internet is not 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. There is always a possibility that a breach of our technical or physical safeguards could occur (due to, for example, sophisticated cyber attacks, zero-day vulnerabilities, or insider wrongdoing). We therefore encourage you to take precautions as well: use a strong, unique password for your Linkhome account and do not share it with others; log out of your account when you finish using our Services (especially on a shared device); and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or any security vulnerabilities. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by law, and we will take appropriate steps to mitigate the impact and prevent further unauthorized access.
If you have any questions about the security of our Services, or if you believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please contact us immediately using the information below.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, and for legitimate business or legal purposes. This means that we will keep your personal data for at least the duration of our relationship with you, and longer if required by law or if we have another continuing legitimate need to do so. For example:
-
We retain your account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to reactivate the Services or if needed for record-keeping.
-
If you engaged in a real estate transaction or other financial service through Linkhome, we will retain the records of that transaction to comply with laws (such as real estate brokerage record retention rules, tax requirements, and anti-fraud regulations) and to be able to address any disputes or inquiries regarding the transaction.
-
We may retain limited information for analysis purposes. Data that is aggregated or de-identified such that it is no longer personally identifiable may be kept indefinitely.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either securely delete or anonymize it or, if deletion or anonymization is not feasible (for example, because the data has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. We also regularly review our data retention practices to ensure we are not keeping data longer than necessary. If you request deletion of your data, we will also ensure that your personal information is deleted (subject to the exceptions and processes described in Your Privacy Rights above).
Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website and apps may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated by Linkhome. For example, we may provide links to external mortgage calculators, home services providers, or social media pages. If you click on a link to a third-party site or service, you will be directed to that third party’s platform. The fact that we link to a site or service is not an endorsement or representation of any affiliation with that third party, nor is it a guarantee of their privacy or security practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites or services. The third parties have their own privacy policies and terms of use, which we recommend you review. We are not responsible for the content, privacy, or security of any third-party platforms. If you choose to engage with third-party services (for example, by using a third-party payment processor or logging in via a social network), your interactions with those parties are governed by their policies, not ours. We encourage you to exercise caution and read the privacy statements of every website or service you visit that collects your information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes to the way we collect or use your personal information, or to other aspects of the Policy, we will provide you with notice in a manner appropriate to the significance of the changes. For example, if the changes are significant, we may post a prominent notice on our website or send you a notification (for instance, via your provided email address or an in-app alert). Minor changes (such as clarification or grammatical corrections) may be simply updated on the website Privacy Policy page with a new effective date.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when the Policy was last revised. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you. If you continue to use our Services after a Privacy Policy update takes effect, it will signify your acceptance of the updated terms (to the extent permitted by law). Should you not agree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the Services and contact us if you wish to have your data removed (subject to our legal obligations).
